Location check for restaurant, cafe and takeaway owners
Busy street, empty shop.
A busy street helps. It won't fill your shop if the people nearby aren't the people your menu is for.
Most regulars live within about a 5-minute drive. So check who lives around the site before you sign a lease. Already open? Check your own address.

A real example. A noodle shop in a young family suburb. The resident data said young families. But the lunch crowd was older women and nearby workers. The data still found the shop's biggest gap: the young families next door it wasn't reaching.

Before you trust a report like this
"Resident data isn't my customers."
Right, and we say so up front. Resident data counts who lives nearby, not who walks in. So every check rates the risk that your walk-ins differ: low, medium or high. A station or offices nearby raise it. The full report adds a 3-day street test to find out.
"I haven't opened yet. Is this for me?"
Yes, it's built for that. You need no sales figures and no account. Just the address and a sentence about your concept. Rent and costs are optional. They add the money checks.
"I'm already open. Is this for me?"
Yes. Run it on your own address. The full report names the big groups nearby that you're missing. It also shows the spots around you where more of your people live. That's where to aim flyers and delivery.
"Will it tell me whether to open?"
No. It shows the fit, the gap and the money. You decide. There's no success percentage, because nobody can honestly give you one.
"Is this a generic AI report?"
No. The resident counts come from population data. The money maths uses your own figures. AI only handles the words. It reads your concept to judge which age groups it suits and which nearby places are like yours. In the full report, it drafts the fixes. Tick your own age groups and they always count. AI is never allowed to tell you to open or not. See a sample report.
"Is US$19 worth it?"
Put it next to one week of your rent. A lease ties you to that rent for years. So one better decision on the site, the menu or the hours pays for it. Other location reports cost about US$30 to US$50 each, or thousands a year. If the free check already rules the site out, you don't need the report. And if it doesn't help, you get a full refund. Email the address on your Stripe receipt within 7 days. No questions asked.
"Does it cover my country?"
WorldPop covers most countries on a 100 m grid. The figures are 2020 estimates. In fast-growing areas, check on the ground. How the check works.
